Summaya Mughal takes over BBC Radio Nottingham Breakfast

Summaya Mughal is presenting the BBC Radio Nottingham breakfast show whilst Verity Cowley takes maternity leave.

Summaya, who has been with Radio Leicester for the last five years, announced the news on Instagram with a tour of the studios.

She said: “Introducing your new Breakfast Presenter on BBC Radio Nottingham and here’s the new digs!

“Five years ago I auditioned for a radio competition at BBC Notts, even tho I’d never been in a radio studio in my life somehow I won, and that’s how the presenting journey started, so it feels very special to be back for a wee while.
