PURE Jingles create brand-new audio branding for KISS

KISS has launched a brand-new sound with audio branding created by PURE Jingles.

The new sound started on-air last week, and debuted to a radio audience at Radiodays Europe in Athens.

KISS and PURE say they have created a sonic logo that isn’t a typical sonic logo, but does feature four notes to allow audiences to recognise KISS when hearing the sound across the network.

Bauer Media Audio UK’s Group Operations Director, Chris Ward said: “KISS is the home of the biggest dance and R&B, and we needed a sound that matches that energy – something bold, fresh, and instantly recognizable across everything we do.

“Whether it’s on air, online, or on socials, this new sonic identity makes sure KISS cuts through.”

“PURE has nailed it. This isn’t just a set of jingles – it’s a sonic identity that gives KISS a sound we can own, wherever and however people hear us. And the best part? It’s built to evolve.

“With regular updates, we can keep it fresh and make sure the sound of KISS always reflects the music we play.”

Matthieu Schotvanger, Branding Consultant at PURE, says: “We believe that such a 360-degree approach helps the medium of radio remain relevant for years to come, especially when using smart activation to engage and monetise audiences.

“There’s great opportunity for radio when we think beyond radio and find our audience wherever they are – with the right message, at the right time. Audio branding supports that omnipresent strategy.”

The new PURE Jingles package is now live on KISS and will soon roll out across all its sub-brands.
