Lord Provost of Edinburgh Officially Opens New Home for Edge 1 & Edge 2

Edge Media Group has officially opened its brand-new broadcast centre in the heart of Edinburgh at Charlotte Square.

The facility was officially opened by the Lord Provost of Edinburgh, Councillor Robert Aldridge.

The broadcast centre provides Edge 1 and Edge 2 with new studios, production facilities, and a creative hub.

Alongside the grand opening, Edge Media Group has created an official charity partnership with One City Trust. The collaboration will see Edge 1 and Edge 2 working closely with the trust to support and amplify the work being done to tackle inequality and social exclusion across Edinburgh.

Speaking at the opening, the Lord Provost of Edinburgh said: “It’s fantastic to see Edge Media Group expanding and investing in Edinburgh’s broadcasting industry. Their commitment to delivering great radio and supporting the community through their new partnership with One City Trust is truly commendable. I’m delighted to officially open their new home in Charlotte Square.”
