Wisebuddah and No Sheet Music extend support for Student Radio
Wisebuddah and No Sheet Music have announced they will continue supporting student radio heading into the new Academic Year via the extension of their Access Fund opportunity.
Over the last couple of years, the audio production companies have partnered with the SRA to provide a travel bursary to the Student Radio Awards and, this year, they will be increasing their support to also cover the National Student Radio Conference.
This increase in funding will help to assist opportunities for even more students to get support in attending both SRA organised events.
Wisebuddah Managing Director, Phil Tozer, and No Sheet Music Managing Director, Paul Plant, have released a joint statement stating that: “We really believe in the work that the Student Radio Association does and the role it has to play in the future of the audio industry.
“When we realised there was an opportunity to grow our support from previous years, it was something we were extremely supportive of; and we’re hopeful that the Access Fund can continue to help more students get a foot in the door!”
Summer Wilde, Chair of the Student Radio Association, added: “I am incredibly proud to see Wisebuddah & No Sheet Music partnering with us once again to support the next generation of broadcasters through the Access Fund.
“It’s vital that no aspiring talent is held back by financial barriers, and this initiative ensures that students from all corners of the country can attend, celebrate their work, and connect with industry professionals. By making these opportunities more accessible, we’re helping to shape a more diverse and vibrant future for the world of radio!”.
