Full line up revealed for Tuning In North 2024
Radiocentre has announced the final line-up of speakers for Tuning In North taking place next week at The Bridgewater Hall in Manchester.
Podcaster Chris Scull, who is best known for creating the podcast about 90s football with Josh Widdicombe ‘Quickly Kevin, will he Score?’ and the official West Ham podcast ‘IronCast’ will join Founder of ‘The Anfield Wrap’, John Gibbons in a discussion about how podcasting can help brands get closer to the sporting action.
The panel session will be led by Managing Director of the Sport Social Podcast Network, Sophie Hind.
Also joining the agenda is Ailsa MacKenzie, Group Strategy Director at Global, who will be introducing new research on the hotly debated subject of attention and explaining what it all means for audio. She will be challenging the assumption that attention is either high or low and reveal the power of subconscious processing.
Co-founders of music creative agency Loud Parade Rahmon Agbaje and Maatin Adewunmi will be speaking about the power of bespoke audio and music in advertising to attract the next generation of Gen Z consumers.
Goodstuff’s Head of Audio, Sam Austin has also been added to the previously announced session with Charlie Cadbury from Say It Now, talking about how they are working together to take advantage of the shift to voice engagement in audio.
The newly announced speakers add to an impressive line-up which includes: The Mayor of Greater Manchester, Andy Burnham; MP for Warrington South and Chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Commercial Radio, Andy Carter; Hits Radio Presenter Gemma Atkinson, and more.
The conference will be opened and chaired by Radiocentre’s CEO Matt Payton and will also feature a session from Planning Director Mark Barber and Head of Insight Donna Burns who will delve into Radiocentre’s new landmark research project ‘Radio: The Performance Multiplier’.
About the event on Tuesday 4th June, Radiocentre’s CEO Matt Payton, said: “We’re excited to be bringing these brilliant speakers to the stage next month.
