45 Radio expands on DAB to Newcastle and Edinburgh

After four years on-air, 45 Radio is expanding its reach to Newcastle and Gateshead and Edinburgh on DAB+.

The station is already broadcasting to Manchester and Birmingham in addition to the usual smart devices.

45 Radio has a roster of former Radio 1, Capital, Smooth, Magic, Luxembourg & Talk Radio presenters including Chris Ashley, Steve Collins, Rosko, David Hamilton & Alton Andrews.

Station Director Kev Roberts told RadioToday: “We are carefully plotting our route and continue to offer a lively music station for the 45+ market.

“Our experience has resonated with listeners and recent stats prove we are on the right track.”
